How to bathe a chicken
I bathed our ex-broody hen, Bertha yesterday, and decided to make the following video demonstrating how it is done. Bertha was very patient with me and seemed to enjoy having a wash on such a hot day.

I was oddly captivated by this. I never knew a chicken could be bathed. You did a wonderful job!
that was pretty cool!! I'll hafta tell my youngest sister that chickens can be bathed - she has a whole buncha chickies!

@windupherskirt - I bathe chickens for many reasons, if a white one is dirty the way Bertha was, but I also bathe them to treat lice and mites, or if they've been rolling in something disgusting!
